What is Geocaching

Geocaching is a modern outdoor activity that resembles classic treasure hunts but includes modern technologies. Instead of depending exclusively on printed clues and physical maps, geocachers use GPS devices and digital maps to go to particular coordinates where hidden containers, or geocaches, are located.

These caches are deliberately placed in a variety of outdoor places selected by the geocaching committee, including parks, forests and urban areas. Another interesting part about geocaching is the variety of cache.
