His Ph.D. in Engineering (Remote sensing) is no doubt a indication that he is excited about science and the natural world around him. He is a strong proponent of inspiring and engaging young people with not just science but also with his wisdom.
He has been doing research using Remote Sensing and GIS application in the fields of land use/cover, Geomorphology, Environmental Studies, Aquifer Mapping and Water Resources Studies and Sharing teaching load @12 hours/week for 15 years as a full time researcher for B.Tech (Geoinformatics, M.Tech (Remote Sensing and Geo-Engineering)
